The Australasian Association for Quality in Health Care (AAQHC) is pleased to be holding its 20th Annual conference in Sydney, to be supported by NSW Health. I am delighted to invite you to register for this exciting event.
The conference continues to be the premier event for those interested in quality and safety and has grown to become among the largest international event of its kind.
This is the 7th Australasian conference on Safety and Quality in Health Care which will build on the considerable experience gained by the association in hosting what is now a long succession of highly successful conferences, with the most recent held in Christchurch, New Zealand and the year prior in Brisbane which attracted almost 1,000 delegates.
Those attending the conference have the opportunity to meet, network and form partnerships with key health care safety and quality leaders to include CEO’s, clinicians, managers and consumers. With a strong emphasis on the workshop program, delegates will also have the opportunity to share in the most up-to-date strategies, innovative approaches, theories and tools that seek to enhance the safety and quality of our health care services.
We aim to provide a unique event which will give participants an opportunity to discuss issues of shared concern, explore solutions, celebrate successes and look to the future to discuss bold outcomes. High-profile keynote speakers will empower you with their bold research, theories and experiences while the selection of interactive skills development workshops will encourage participants to be involved in finding solutions.
This will be a highly successful, well-organised, educational and enjoyable conference that prompts people to act on the ideas and outcomes learned during the event.
